The ZKL Education Foundation Black & Gold Ball is a black-tie event, which includes dinner and entertainment, is held annually as a fundraiser for the ZKL Education Foundation.
Proceeds from the event are primarily used to award college scholarships and to help finance our other key programs including Leadership Development Institution and our College Tours. In addition to its social components, offers a platform for recognizing the past year’s accomplishments and for announcing scholarship winners. Additionally, a member of the community who has served as a leader, role model, and general source of inspiration within the diverse community in the greater Des Moines area is honored with our Alpha Award of Merit.
